Palatine/Inverness Arts Council hosts preview

The Palatine/Inverness Arts Council will hold an artist reception and show previewing its seventh annual juried art fair, An Art Affair Around the Square. The preview, which is free and open to the public, will be held 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9 at the Music Room, 26 N. Brockway, Palatine.

Highlighted pieces of the art show will be on display and acoustic guitarist Merv Collins will play. The art fair is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 10 and 11 in Towne Square, Smith Street and Palatine Road.
