Sundays at Safety Park in Schaumburg

Children ages 3 to 7 can spend a summer Sunday learning helpful safety tips from the Schaumburg Park District. “Sundays at Safety Park” will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on both July 29 and Aug. 19 at Ken Alley Safety Park, 421 N. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg. Safety Park was developed to teach safety awareness to young children. Participants will be able to drive, peddle and ride around Safety Park on the 18-passenger trackless train, big wheels and electric sport utility vehicles. There also will be safety-related activities available including movies and crafts in the party room. Helmets and gym shoes must be worn while riding big wheels and sport utility vehicles. Children must be accompanied by a parent. Admission to each program date is $10 for one child and $5 for each additional child. For information, call (847) 490-7036 or visit parkfun.com.
