Tickets are $100 for “Wishes & Dreams” dinner and auction
Today is the last day to RSVP for next weekend’s “Wishes & Dreams,” the 7th annual dinner and auction organized by the South Elgin pediatric cancer foundation Cal’s Angels.
The event takes place Saturday, Feb. 23, at Stonegate Banquet Center, 2401 W. Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a red carpet entrance, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction with bidding via smartphone, followed by a plated dinner, multimedia program, live auction and dancing.
WIND-AM radio host Steve Cochran will be the guest master of ceremonies. There will be a “photo booth of the stars” and a premium open bar. Tickets are $100 per person; cocktail attire is recommended.
Cal’s Angels is named after Cal Sutter, a South Elgin Little League All-Star who died at the age of 12 of acute myelogenous leukemia in 2006. Its main mission is to grant wishes and provide financial assistance to families of kids fighting cancer.
