Sam Lawrence allowed 3 hits over 6 innings to help the Falcons (13-11, 9-8) win in the DuPage Valley. Zach Colangelo went 3-for-4 and Casey Becker drove in 2 runs. Kevin Ringlein went 2-for-3 for Neuqua Valley (15-9, 10-7).

Benet 5-11, Marian Central 1-5:

The Redwings (10-14, 5-7) swept in the East Suburban Catholic. Eight players had hits in the opener, with Marty Dosen going 3-for-4 and Erik Jones going 2-for-3. Joey Christensen pitched 5 innings to earn the win. Jones, Alex Tassos, Dan Sobolewski, Bobby Ernsting and Jake Barnhart had 2 hits apiece in Game 2. Six pitchers combined on the mound.

Winning pitcher Michael Sebby went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI as the Rams (19-7, 12-2) won the Upstate Eight Conference crossover.

Neal Shah was the complete-game winning pitcher for the Panthers (7-19, 4-13 (DuPage Valley), scattering 8 hits and throwing 6 shutout innings. Zach Heck and Alex Taylor had 2 hits. Michael Nielsen and Paul Beverly had 2 hits for Lake Park (16-7, 11-6).

Metea Valley 9, WW South 1:

A 6-run bottom of the sixth inning broke open the DuPage Valley Conference victory for the Mustangs (14-13, 9-11). Anthony Greco drove in 3 runs and Matt Vass had 2 RBI while Conner Lovely, Jacob Aske and Ashton Creal each had 2 hits in support of winning pitcher Joey Coryell.

York 7, Lyons Twp. 0:

Cole Miller pitched a 4-hitter with 4 strikeouts for the Dukes (15-10, 9-6) in the West Suburban Silver victory. Marc Thieme went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI while Phil Schlitter had 2 RBI.
