Partnership Focus

Since its founding in 1872, the Daily Herald has had a history of commitment to the Chicago suburbs. While journalism is at the heart of what the Herald does, the goal has always been to inform readers and provide solutions in their daily lives. Neighbors in Need is an extension of the mission to inform and improve our communities.

Daily Herald Neighbors in Need supports community groups and programs committed to tackling the problems of the homeless and the hungry in the Herald’s readership area. Neighbors in Need will also support groups and programs dedicated to making sure quality healthcare is accessible to all.
