Incumbent loses Streamwood park board seat
Challengers Adriana Armstrong and Richard Brogan will join incumbent Thomas Keating on the Streamwood park board.
With 26 of 27 precincts reporting Tuesday, Armstrong had 1,473 votes, Keating had 1,309 votes and Brogan had 1,259 votes, according to unofficial tallies. The newcomers unseated 12-year parks commissioner Paula Lambertz, who had 1,124 votes. Unsuccessful challenger John Beto had 1,171 votes.
Both Armstrong and Brogan are involved in the Streamwood Park District Foundation and are active community volunteers.
