Voters selected three incumbents and one newcomer to serve on the River Trails Elementary District 26 school board.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, unofficial vote totals showed that incumbent Steven O'Mara had 1,122 votes; eight-year veteran Rebecca Reese had 1,974; incumbent Jeffrey Bradley had 1,037 votes; and newcomer Donna Nasser had 974 votes. Newcomer Marianela Gonzalez had 745 votes, while incumbent Edward Slosar received 721 votes.

All six of the candidates are from Mount Prospect, though District 26 also includes a portion of Des Plaines.
