So what's your new mayor like? The Daily Herald asked our new mayors and village presidents a few 'get to know you' questions Wednesday, the day after voters chose them to lead their communities. Here's what they had to say:

Michael E. Kelly, Bartlett village president elect

Q. Who is your political role model?

A. Abraham Lincoln. I like everything about Lincoln and I liked the way Lincoln worked with his adversaries to hold the country together when the Civil War broke out.

Q. What is the first thing you want to change?

A. I guess from my perspective I want to listen better to the residents.

Q. What is your favorite movie?

A. "The Great Escape." I liked Steve McQueen in his motorcycle chase.

Q. How did you celebrate?

A. I didn't really celebrate yet. We're just cleaning up everything, We just picked up a lot. We'll get together with some of my supporters and will probably just get together at one of our houses and have a little party at the house.

Q. What's the last good book you read?

A. "Team of Rivals" by Doris Kearns Goodwin, a biography on Lincoln.

Q. Cubs or Sox?

A. Sox
