Four people have been shot in separate incidents in the same neighborhood on Chicago's South Side.

Chicago police Officer John Mirabelli says the victims were shot about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the West Englewood neighborhood.

He says two men were shot in one location. Both are in good condition at Holy Cross Hospital.

Another male in his 20s was shot in a nearby alley and is in very critical condition. A female was shot a short distance away. She's in critical condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Mirabelli says it's unclear how the shootings started and whether they're related. Detectives were still on the scene Tuesday evening.
