A Naperville mother received a preliminary trial date Monday in her endangerment case.
Mary Morrissey's trial is tentatively scheduled to start Jan. 25 in DuPage County.
The 42-year-old was arrested in August and charged with child endangerment after police were called to her house in the 800 block of Tulip Lane.
Police said Morrissey's 10-year-old son had called his grandfather when he couldn't get his mother to take care of a pizza that was burning in the oven. The grandfather called police.
Police at the time said they found Morrissey incoherent and disoriented when they arrived. Breath tests showed she had a blood-alcohol level four times the legal threshold for DUI.
Morrissey's attorney has said the incident was a misunderstanding.
