Two Woodridge residents have been charged for their role in an early Sunday morning home invasion in Bolingbrook, authorities said Tuesday.
Brian Morgan, 29, of 8320 Adbeth Ave., and Danielle Kinnaman, 20, of 2336 Charmingfaire, each has been charged with armed home invasion.
Bolingbrook police spokesman Michael Rompa said officers responded to a call at 300 Woodcreek #213 about 3:20 a.m. Sunday and found a 24-year-old male bleeding profusely from the back of the head and with a black eye. They also found a 23-year-old female victim complaining of stomach pains, with a red mark across her stomach.
Rompa said the victims told police Morgan, armed with a crowbar, and Kinnaman broke into the apartment and repeatedly hit the male victim. The female victim also stated she was struck with the crowbar when she tried to intervene.
Both offenders fled in a vehicle toward Lisle. Woodridge police later stopped the couple at Woodward, near 75th Street. Police believe the incident stemmed from an earlier fight.
