An educational opportunity for families, social workers, and anyone seeking insight on Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia

Lake Zurich, IL - 3/1/2023 - On April 19th, The Auberge at Lake Zurich will host Sarah Viola, Author of When Waves Rise: Navigating Difficult Moments Associated with Dementia in a presentation called "Secrets to Successful Living with Dementia." This free, highly anticipated event takes place from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at 555 America Court, Lake Zurich, IL 60047

What you can expect when you attend Secrets to Successful Living with Dementia:

• Tips for creating success daily for both the person living with dementia and the care provider

• How home and supportive living can improve quality of life

• An understanding of when a transition to a memory care community may be right for you

• Certificates for 2 hours of CE (continuing education) for Nursing Home Administrators and Social Workers approved by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards

Sarah has taught both personal and professional care providers how to ease the caregiving experience and improve quality of life for the person living with dementia, as well as for themselves. The caregiving experience can come with many questions that don't seem to have answers. In this educational opportunity, Sarah will introduce participants to some common difficulties of family in-home care providers and provide solutions. Sarah is well known in the senior living industry and this presentation is approved by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards.
