DuPage County, District 1: Puchalski

In DuPage County Board District 1, Republican incumbent Donald Puchalski of Addison faces Democratic challenger Kathryn Salzano, a teacher from Elmhurst.

Both vow to hold the line on taxes and spending, but Puchalski has a proven track record and knack for working with all members of the county board.

District 1 includes Addison, Bensenville, Itasca and Wood Dale, plus parts of Elmhurst, Lombard, Roselle and Villa Park.
