Pair arrested in Hanover Park prostitution bust

A Streamwood man faces up to a year in jail after his arrest Friday on allegations he kept a place of prostitution in the 6700 block of Pine Tree Street in Hanover Park.

The Hanover Park Police Department’s Special Operations Group arrested Bernardo Ayala, 38, of the 1000 block of Meadow Lane, and Gretchen Delgado, 40, of Palm Bay, Florida in connection with an investigation that also involved Addison Police.

Ayala is charged with one count of keeping a place of prostitution, a Class A misdemeanor. Delgado faces a misdemeanor count of prostitution. Both charges are punishable by up to a year in jail and fine of $2,500.

The pair posted bond after an initial court appearance Saturday and are due back in court May 16 in Rolling Meadows.
