Chicago Sky scouting report

Indiana Fever (15-6) at Chicago Sky (9-12)

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Allstate Arena

TV: Comcast Channel 100

Last: On Friday, the Fever beat the host Tulsa Shock 85-65; on Thursday, the Sky lost to the host New York Liberty 59-49.

Skinny: The Sky is in the midst of one of the toughest stretches of its schedule, and so far, not so good. Against New York on Thursday, the Sky led for essentially the entire game but completely stalled in the fourth quarter, scoring just 1 point. Such a collapse can’t happen at any point against the Eastern Conference-leading Fever, which has won five straight games and features one of the best players in the WNBA in forward Tamika Catchings, the former Stevenson High School star. The Fever has the Sky’s number, having earned a 5-0 series sweep in 2010 and boasting a 2-0 advantage in 2011. Against Tulsa, five Fever players scored in double figures, led by center Jessica Davenport with 17 points. The Sky had just center Sylvia Fowles reach double figures against New York with 11 points. The Sky, fourth in the Eastern Conference, committed 22 turnovers against the Liberty.

Next: Sky at Connecticut Sun, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday
