Amanda Bynes arrested on suspicion of DUI
LOS ANGELES — Authorities say actress Amanda Bynes has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she grazed a sheriff's patrol car.
The 26-year-old actress was arrested around 3 a.m. Friday in West Hollywood.
The Sheriff's Department says in a news release that Bynes attempted to pass a patrol car making a right turn and hit it. Deputies arrested her after the incident.
Deputies say there was paint damage to both cars, but no one was injured.
Bynes is being held on $5,000 bail. A phone and email message to her publicist Melissa Raubvogel was not immediately returned.
The actress appeared in 2010's “Easy A” and the Nickolodean series “What I Like About You.”
