Help us remember value of helmets
I find it amazing that you rarely, if ever, state whether or not the fatal victim in a motorcycle accident was wearing head protection. It seems to me that the safety benefits of using head protection while cycling would be better understood by your readership if they were aware of that information. I find it hard to believe that the police and/or your reporters could be missing that detail. The fact that Illinois does not require that head protection does not negate the use of good ol’ common sense!
