Traditionally, high schools teach taught biology first, then chemistry and finally physics. But Community High School District 117 has flipped the sequence by implementing the "Physics First" curriculum at both Antioch and Lakes Community high schools.

Most residents displaced by a three-alarm blaze at a Libertyville apartment building are allowed to return to their homes, fire officials said today. However, residents who were on the second floor when the blaze struck about 3:35 p.m. Tuesday will have to wait awhile longer to get into their units.
