Sam's Super Apples

Sam's Super Apples
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
6 cups peeled and sliced apples
Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a saucepan; add apples and stir well. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Makes 1 pint.
Nutrition values per 1/4-cup serving: 159 calories, 1 g fat, 41 g carbohydrates, 2 g fiber, 1 g protein, 0 mg cholesterol, 1 mg sodium.
