Psychic opens shop in Long Grove to provide spiritual guidance

The owner of a new Long Grove business specializes in love and relationships.

Sherie Prier, known as Vivienne, recently opened Psychic Insights at 1150 Old McHenry Road. The Long Grove resident is able to tell her clients about the past, present and future.

"I am able to help people through relationships, depression and open doors for the future," Prier said.

The entrepreneur provides psychic readings, Tarot card readings and palm and crystal readings. She also offers Chakra repair and aura and pyramid healings.

Prier said she's able to help clients gain clarity with accurate and in-depth and honest readings. "I can guide and advise through all aspects of life," she added.

Prices vary pending on the service provided. A basic palm reading starts at $25 while Chakra and aura healings are $125. Readings range from 20 minutes to over an hour. "Everyone has a different life," she added.

Prier admits that many first-time clients are skeptical. She says that changes after they have their first reading. She sees both men and women. Men often ask for advice when making a business or financial deals, she added.

She is also able to talk to someone who has died. Up to six weeks after the death is the best time for this type of reading. "I can also read someone through a picture," she said.

Prier first discovered she had psychic powers when she was 6 years old. "I saw and knew things," said Prier, who grew up in California. Her grandmother helped her develop her reading skills.

"I can bring closure to your past, bring meaning to your present and open doors to your future," she said.

The business is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and by appointment.
