Deer Park Estates opens model townhouse

Red Seal Homes announces the opening of a professionally decorated and furnished model townhouse at Deer Park Estates, the company's maintenance-free luxury enclave of townhouses and single-family homes in North suburban Deer Park.

Deer Park Estates is at the corner of Long Grove and Quentin roads, just west of Route 12. The neighborhood includes 61 luxury two-story townhouses and 11 single-family homes in a setting accented with landscaping and winding streets. Pre-construction prices start in the upper $430,000s for the townhouses, with single-family prices beginning in the upper $570,000s.

The townhouse model is the DP-6 floor plan, a three-bedroom 2½-bath design measuring 2,161 square feet. This model has been treated to a professional interior designer's touch, with rich colors and textures, coordinating finishes and furnishings.

On the outside, homes at Deer Park Estates feature architectural details that include rooflines with curved eaves and textured shingles, arched openings, carriage door style garage doors, metal-framed balconies and stone chimneys. These details give each home a timeless look with curb appeal.

The townhouses at Deer Park Estates are constructed in groups of three or four homes, each with elevations that include bay windows and turrets plus columned and covered entryways. There are nine townhouse floor plans, sized from 1,891 to 2,781 square feet. The homes include three bedrooms, 2½ baths, wood decks, full basements and two-car attached garages.

Two of the townhouse plans include a first-floor master suite. Other models feature turrets with dens and master bedroom sitting areas, lofts, two-story foyers and center island or peninsula kitchens. English and walkout basements are also available on select sites.

The DP-6 townhouse model is sized at 2,161 square feet. This home features three bedrooms, 2½ baths, a formal dining room adjacent to the kitchen and breakfast area, a family room, full basement and two-car attached garage.

Additional features of this home include a luxury master suite with two walk-in closets and private bath. A two-story foyer, second-floor laundry and deck are also included.

The DP-6 features a covered entryway. The two-story foyer opens to the staircase straight ahead, with a guest closet around the corner.

The family room with fireplace is open to the kitchen with pantry, corner sink and breakfast bar that overlooks the breakfast area and family room. The rear deck is accessed through the sliding glass doors in the breakfast room. The family room is open to the formal dining room, which is across from the kitchen.

The first floor includes a powder room, entry to the garage and larger windows.

Upstairs, the DP-6 features two secondary bedrooms in the corners for privacy and that have easy access to the hall bath and hallway linen closet.

The master suite highlights a box bay window, two walk-in closets and a private bath with two vanities, a soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, water closet and linen storage.

The DP-6 also includes a full basement, which can be finished by the owner to add more living area and a two-car garage. This home is pre-construction priced from $479,900 to $528,900 depending on site location.

"Deer Park Estates expands over 14-acres and is adjacent to natural wetlands that give the neighborhood an enclave feel. A bike path winds along two sides of the neighborhood and a pond provides water views from many of the homes. The neighborhood is also close to Deer Park Town Center," Fishbein says.

The single-family homes are available in two floor plans. One model is a three-bedroom 2½-bath layout with first floor master suite, full basement and two-car attached garage. This home measures 2,201 square feet.

The other single-family floor plan features four bedrooms, 3½ baths, formal living and dining rooms, a family room open to the kitchen and breakfast area, rear deck, full basement and attached two-car garage. This plan is sized at 3,116 square feet.

Walkout and lookout basement options are available on select sites. Wood decks are standard.

All homes at Deer Park Estates include a choice of hardwood or ceramic tile floors in foyers, kitchens, breakfast rooms and powder rooms. Bath and utility floors are ceramic tile.

Additional interior items are painted solid-core six-panel doors with premium satin nickel lever hardware, decorator light fixtures, a choice of Berber or plush wall-to-wall carpet and a fireplace with ceramic surround and hearth in the family room or living room, depending on plan.

Each kitchen includes granite counters, 42-inch cabinets, pantries and stainless steel under-mount sink with pullout faucet. The stainless steel appliance package includes a refrigerator with water dispenser, self-cleaning range, microwave with vented hood, dishwasher and garbage disposer.

The master baths include a soaking tub and separate shower (in some plans), ceramic tile shower walls, double bowl white vanity tops with cast iron under-mount sinks and furniture-finished vanities and ceramic tile floors. Hall baths and powder room are similarly equipped.

Deer Park Estates is located at the corner of Long. Grove and Quentin roads in Deer Park. To visit, take Route 53 north, turn west on Lake Cook Road to Route 12. Turn north to Long Grove Road and west to the community.
