Navistar announces key appointments

WARRENVILLE -- Navistar International Corp. announced two key appointments. Jon F. Harmon was named vice president, corporate communications. Harmon joins Navistar from a public relations consultancy he founded. He also worked for 23 years at Ford Motor Co. in public relations. The company announced the promotion of Heather Kos to vice president, investor relations. Kos, 36, has been director, investor relations, since January 2006. Since joining the company in 1997, Kos has served in numerous positions in finance and strategy at International Truck and Engine Corp., Navistar's operating company.

Home decor shop moves to new spot

AURORA -- A Walk 'N Thyme, Home and Garden Decor recently moved to a new location. The shop, formerly at 207 S. Third St. in Geneva, is now within the Invitations Etc. store at 355 E. Indian Trail in Aurora. The store will continue many of the same product lines as before. A grand re-opening is set to take place from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be giveaways, a floral presentation and more.
