Briefs: Discover names new board member

RIVERWOODS -- Discover Financial Services, based in Riverwoods, announced Friday the addition of Michael H. Moskow, former president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, to the company's board of directors. "Michael has extensive knowledge and insight from both his public- and private-sector experience that should prove invaluable to us," Discover CEO David W. Nelms, who also serves on the board, said in a statement.

Navistar delays financial results

WARRENVILLE -- Navistar International, the Warrenville-based truck maker that hasn't filed financial reports in two years, said it will delay release of its restated results for another month, to Oct. 25. It will disclose results for 2003 through 2005 at an investor and analyst meeting in New York, Navistar said Friday in a statement. The company previously said the data would be released at the end of this month.
