VNA wins Aurora civic service award

AURORA -- VNA, a local humanitarian health-care organization, won The Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce 2007 Business of the Year award for community service. VNA offers health care to uninsured and under-insured residents across the Fox Valley.

DeVry scholarships to go to veterans

OAKBROOK TERRACE -- DeVry University and AMVETS recently announced a partnership to provide up to 30 scholarships for veterans and families. Starting in November, the partial-tuition scholarships will be available to those who have applied for or enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs at DeVry University or its Keller Graduate School of Management. DeVry University's AMVETS Scholarship is available to 10 students each semester and up to a total of $9,000 over the course of a degree program.
