Briefs: Sears opens new outlet store

HOFFMAN ESTATES -- Sears announced the opening of a new Sears Outlet store in Bridgeview, which will feature brand names in appliances, big screen TVs, mattresses and more at 15 percent to 50 percent off the retail price. The Bridgeview Sears Outlet features brand names including Kenmore, Whirlpool, LG and GE appliances, along with Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and Toshiba Plasma and LCD TVs. Products have been returned or discontinued or are over stocks, custom ordered or slightly damaged.

Grainger branch goes to Bensenville

ELK GROVE VILLAGE -- Grainger, a distributor of business maintenance supplies, has relocated its branch in Wood Dale to a new building at 880 Devon Ave. in Bensenville. The relocated facility will serve customers in the Elk Grove Village, Bensenville, Wood Dale and Itasca areas. The new 27,000-square-foot facility provides customers access to more than 22,000 locally tailored products.
