Dining choices in Lombard expand

The Shops on Butterfield at Yorktown Center recently welcomed two new eateries.

Boudin SF, at 348 Yorktown Center, is a fast-casual extension of San Francisco sourdough powerhouse Boudin Bakery. This is its first non-California location, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner along with takeout, catering and a children's menu. Adobo Grill, at 356 Yorktown Center, expands the Chicago franchise into the suburbs. It offers traditional Mexican dishes, tableside guacamole, margaritas and all the other favorites from Adobo's Old Town and Wicker Park locations. Maya del Sol, 144 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park, specializes in New World Latin cuisine, with fare from Mexico, Central and South America, Cuba and California. Executive chef Ruben Beltran, a former protégé of Rick Bayless at Frontera Grill, draws on his Mexican heritage for inspiration. Its name, meaning "slaughterhouse" in Italian, reminds the trendy West Loop meatpacking district of its roots by setting up in a building that was an actual slaughterhouse during the 1920s.
