Briefs: Pumps & Process purchases office

ELGIN -- Pumps & Process Equipment Inc. purchased a 3,030-square-foot office and warehouse unit at WestPoint Elgin Corporate Center at 2585 Millenium Drive, Elgin. ICE Realty Group and TCB Development are putting up two office and warehouse buildings totaling 67,000 square feet. Pumps & Process is a distributor of industrial and sanitary pumps, mixers, tanks and processing equipment. The project is part of the 120-acre Elgin Corporate Center near the I-90 and Randall Road interchange.

Starbucks to host pumpkin party

ST. CHARLES -- Starbucks Coffee hosts a pumpkin decorating event at its St. Charles store from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 25. Children and their parents are invited to gather at the coffee shop's patio, 101 E. Main St., to decorate pumpkins, listen to local storytellers, eat snacks and decorate trick-or-treat bags. Activities will move inside if the weather does not cooperate.
