Abraxis approved to market 3 drugs

SCHAUMBURG -- Abraxis Pharmaceutical Products, the hospital-based business of Abraxis BioScience Inc. in Schaumburg, received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval this week to market three generic cancer drugs that will give it access to markets that the company says totaled nearly $80 million in 2006. The company expects to launch the drugs during the current quarter but does not expect to see a salesaffect until next year.
