Three new models aimed at luxury condominium shoppers, are now open in the fourth and final building at Stone Gate Condominiums of Des Plaines, a community of 264 upscale residences by Newport Builders.

The three models, named the Coral, Opal and Topaz, are two-bedroom, two-bath homes. Each features stainless steel appliances and a laundry room with a sink.

The Opal, a corner unit, has a double-door entry to the master bedroom. The master bath boasts a double-bowl vanity with a five-foot walk-in shower. The second bath is adjacent to the second bedroom.

The Opal's storage space includes two entry closets, a walk-in master closet and baths with linen closets. The Opal starts at $277,950 and offers 1,645 square feet.

The Coral, which is also a corner unit with a balcony, is characterized by a layout that creates the illusion of having a double master suite. Thanks to two walls of windows, the dining room is bathed in natural light.

With a base price starting at $285,950, the Coral spans 1,571 square feet.

The Topaz's two bedrooms and two baths are separated by the living area, and like the other models, it, too, features closet space. The master bath features both a walk-in shower and separate tub.

It has a base price of $288,950 and offers 1,576 square feet.

Each residence has one parking space and one private storage space in the heated garage. The monthly assessment ranges from $150 to $260.

The sales office is located at 430 Western Avenue. To reach the community, exit northbound I-294 at Dempster, and head west about 1.5 miles (turns into Northwest Highway/Miner Street).
