Briefs: Gallagher acquires Cedar Hill

ITASCA -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Wednesday it has acquired Cedar Hill Insurance Agency Inc. based in Scottsdale, Ariz. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 1995, Cedar Hill is a retail property/casualty insurance program administrator and business process outsourcing firm. It specializes in workers compensation insurance programs for professional employer organizations and temporary service industries nationwide.

McDonald's game delivers prizes

OAK BROOK -- The Monopoly 2007 game at McDonald's has delivered more than $30 million in prizes throughout the promotion, which ended Monday, and includes two $1 million winners as well as $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 winners. Travis Wilbanks of St. Charles, Mo., and Ashley Berry of Kingwood, Tex., scored the top prize of $1 million. The in-restaurant game ended Oct. 29, but customers can play online through Nov. 13.
