Footlik is the one who can beat Kirk

I am disappointed with Dan Seals proclaiming, "We changed the district in 2006" because Mark Kirk is still our congressman. Jay Footlik is the person I want in Congress because he has been a true change agent for people and can actually defeat Mark Kirk.

One change we need is moving our country away from its dependence on oil as a fuel and Jay helped found SAFE (Securing America's Future Energy), a group devoted to that goal. In fact, SAFE helped pass legislation in Congress raising fuel mileage standards for the first time in years. That is a real change that will help our lives.

Jay Footlik has the experience to represent our district and provide the leadership to not only defeat Mark Kirk, but also to intact real change. That is why he has my vote Feb. 5. I hope he has yours too.
