Bears set camps schedule; Kelley rules Big Ten in floor ex

The stars of tomorrow will have stars in their eyes when they attend the Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps.

The non-contact camps for ages 6 to 14 will be held in June and July at 30 locations throughout northern Illinois.

Registrations are being accepted. Camps are $365. If you sign up by Friday, you will save $25 on your summer camp registration.

With a station-based training format, the campers are separated by age and experience level.

The program rotates like a class room and keeps kids engaged with fresh material and new challenges. The campers are taught all football-playing positions over the course of five days.

Camp leaders such as Robin Earl, Scott Baum, Kevin Gallmeier and Mickey Pruitt deliver a blend of positive reinforcement, high expectations and love for the game. There is a 0-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio.

First-aid trained staff and an athletic trainer will be available.
