Grayslake fired up for DUIs
Grayslake police say they vow to arrest everyone driving impaired over the Labor Day weekend. As part of the effort, Grayslake officers will be on special Labor Day holiday patrols. "All too often, innocent law-abiding people suffer tragic consequences and the loss of loved ones due to this careless disregard for human life," said Grayslake police Sgt. Brian Ernst. "Because we are committed to ending the carnage, we are intensifying enforcement during the crackdown. We will be especially vigilant during high-risk nighttime hours when impaired drivers are most likely to be on our roads."
