Buffet and brews for Bears ticker holders

Only a Bears win could sweeten this deal. Finley Mahony's welcomes Bears ticketholders with a home-game Bears trifecta: buffet and brews with free shuttle bus service to and from every Chicago Bears home game. The $50 per person fee includes drinks and buffet before the game, beer on the bus to the game, and transportation back to Finley Mahony's after the game, where, you guessed it, there'll be more beer! You'll have to pay then, though. Seats on the "Bears Bus" must be reserved two days in advance. Oh, and, uh, you must be 21 years or older to participate.

Déjà rock

Can't wait for the weekend for your live music fix? Then head to Déjà Vu in Lincoln Park where local bands will take the stage Wednesday and Thursday nights. The beat goes on Friday at Déjà's Friday Night Live music series showcasing local talent beginning at 9 p.m. First up - Given 2 Fly on Sept. 5, the Midwest's premier Pearl Jam tribute band. As a special treat, for the first time ever at Déjà Vu, Cealed Kasket will perform on September 26. This rock glam metal group puts on a show that they call "a frantic medieval horror opera set in the Dark Ages, a presentation of hedonistic rock 'n' roll so powerful it would reduce Alice Cooper to prison bait." Sounds like a good time.
