Sandy Kaczmarski for Kane board chairman
The race for the White House has kept many voters focused on Washington, but I am very concerned about the leadership of the Kane County Board. I urge voters to take a look at the issues in the race for chairman.
The primary responsibility of the county board is to establish budgets for the various service departments of the county government, a majority of which is judicial in nature. Yet I don't think I am the only one that has watched Kane County turn from farmland and open spaces in recent years to a sprawl of rooftops and pavement. The uncontrolled growth needed a watchful eye. Yet interestingly enough, when you look at the campaign donations of the current chairman, it is a list of who's who in the development business. Something is amiss!
I will cast my vote for the dynamic challenger for Kane County Board Chairman - Sandy Kaczmarski. Sandy is bright, thoughtful and energetic, not afraid to ask the tough questions. It is time for change at the county level, too.
