If you like Bush, vote for Kirk

Mark Kirk has voted with Bush 88 percent of the time. He voted for the Terry Schiavo Restoration Act which required the Federal Government to forcibly insert a feeding tube into a woman who had been in a vegetative state for 15 years, even against the wishes of her husband. He voted for the Iraq invasion. He voted to elect Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Cal) to the post of Republican Policy Chairman even after Issa previously referred to Israel as an "apartheid state" and called for the U.N. to redraw Israel's borders.

Yet Mark Kirk says he is a supporter of Israel. He voted to give tax credits to the wealthy oil companies. All the millions of dollars given to them could have helped many needy families. But of course these families could not contribute to Mark Kirk's campaign like the oil companies did. Mark Kirk accepted thousands of dollars from the oil companies for his campaign.

How do you think he will vote in the future when the oil companies have "special needs" if he stays in Congress? Mark Kirk has not only limited Dan Seals to one debate, but insisted it be held shortly before the election. Frankly, having attended the debate I can understand his reluctance debate more frequently. We need thoughtful, knowledgeable and INDEPENDENT leadership. Dan Seals is the person who will deliver. Give him your vote and you will be glad you did.
