Barrington

• Burglars pried open the rear door of Scooters Hot Dogs, 402 N. Hough St., between Nov. 26-28. They pried open a cash register and stole $300.

Inverness

• Seventeen underage partygoers were arrested around 11:10 p.m. Nov. 29 on the 1400 block of Thor Drive. Colton Moyer, 17, 215 Inverway, Inverness, was charged with hosting an underage party and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor were: Christopher T. Doloughty, 18, 1238 Hampton Place, Palatine; Lauren A. Darwit, 17, 2806 Pebblebrook, Rolling Meadows; Jordan Jasin, 18, 1825 W. Gilbert, Palatine; Nikki Hwang, 17, 1425 Westberry, Hoffman Estates; Jamie C. Notaro, 17, 1004 Raven Lane, Palatine; Margaret M. Weber, 17, 648 Balmoral Lane, Inverness; Sarah J. Smietana, 18, and Emily Smietana, 18, both of 988 W. Hidden Hill Lane, Palatine; Joyce T. Breeda, 17, 183 Poteet Ave., Inverness; Natalie R. Kirchner, 17, 1228 s. Leo Court, Palatine; Lucas A. Swan, 17, 232 Stratford Lane, Barrington; Grant A. Henning, 17, 552 St. Andrews Lane, Inverness; Lindsay M. Gilski, 17, 778 Thomplong Way, Palatine; Meghan M. Moffett, 18, 1600 W. Charlemange Drive, Hoffman Estates; Gianna L. Friedman, 17, 4891 Thornpark Drive, Hoffman Estates; and Allison K. Koenig, 17, 830 S. California Ave., Palatine. Their court date is Dec. 19.

• A home on the 1000 block of Ridgeview Drive was burglarized on an unknown date; possibly Nov. 17 or 18. About $4,900 worth of jewelry, clothes and miscellaneous household things were stolen.

• Two pairs of sunglasses and a turkey baster were stolen out of a 2007 H3 Hummer on the 100 block of Hillshire Drive overnight Nov. 24-25. Loss was estimated at $520.

• A home on the 1100 block of Jonathan Drive was broken into between noon and 3 p.m. Nov. 22; someone pried the rear patio doors open and stole two wallets, a laptop computer and jewelry, altogether worth about $23,800.

• An FM transmitter, MP3 player, two purses and a textbook were stolen out of an unlocked 2008 Ford on the 700 block of Bordeaux Court between 7 p.m. Nov. 24 and 1:30 a.m. Nov. 25. Loss was estimated at $630.

Palatine

• David F. Liberty, 49, 536 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, was arrested Dec. 2 at Jewel, 45 S. Plum Grove Road, and charged with assault after he threatened to kick a manager Nov. 30 when he was told to leave. Police said he had been banned from the store for previous disruptive behavior. His court date is Jan. 8.
