Boys bowling

At Lake Zurich: Streamwood, in its first year of bowling, was competitive and turned some heads after throwing an 1,140 in its second game. At that time it moved the Sabres up to second place. However, Streamwood tailed off a bit over the last few games.

"Our boys bowled impressively and we bowled a lot better than the past," Streamwood coach Nicole Lyczak said. "We didn't know what to expect as a team coming into the sectional. By far we exceeded our expectations in our first year." Bobby Trimarco rolled one of the highest games with a 278 and shot 1,177 for Streamwood. Other scores were Matt Cizowski (1,277), Joshua Reyes (1,195), Alex Woodrich (1,080), Matt Komtved (899) 5 games and Steven Welch (194) one game.
