No. 7 West Aurora (20-7) vs. No. 2 Naperville Central (25-2)

Outlook: Both sides have reason to dread this Class 4A Naperville Central regional final. While the Redhawks have the unenviable task of having to beat West Aurora for a third time this season - following a pair of DuPage Valley Conference tussles - the Blackhawks have to top the unbeaten DVC champions on their home court. Naperville Central has a clear leader in All-Area Captain Drew Crawford, but for the Redhawks to be successful the perimeter game of David Mallett and Nick Linne needs to be clicking. Danny Ondik must continue his steady point guard play and Matt Neufeld has to be strong inside. West Aurora boasts one of the sectional's best leaders in senior guard Markus Cocroft. The Blackhawks also have a future star to watch in freshman forward Juwan Starks.
