Incumbents deserve re-election to Arlington library board

When you cast your ballot for Arlington Heights Memorial Library trustees on April 7, we urge you to vote, as we are doing, for Kerry Pearson and Charles Drost for the two 6-year positions and for Deborah Nelson for the 2-year position.

Mr. Pearson, who is an attorney, and Ms. Nelson, who is a consultant for nonprofit organizations, are experienced incumbents who have extensive knowledge of library finances and policies and the proven ability to work positively with the other trustees. Mr. Drost, who is a banker, will bring useful financial and planning experience to the table. All three candidates are longtime residents of Arlington Heights and have a thorough understanding of the community's information needs. They also have a firm commitment to making the library a safe and nurturing environment for children.

We are confident that Pearson, Drost and Nelson are the best choices for library trustees, and we urge you to support them on April 7.
