Let the Obamas have their date
Give me a break. Now the press is stirring the pot regarding the Obama's date night. Our lackluster past president spent 487 days at Camp David and a whopping 490 days at the ranch. Those trips were a bit more costly, don't you think?
I laud the Obamas for stimulating the economy by going on their date. How far out do you suppose the tickets have already been sold to the play, "Joe Turner's Come and Gone?" How long will it take to get reservations to the green organic restaurant Blue Hill? Thoughtful planning, I'd say, in comparison to flying off to Texas to chop down trees.
