Oven BBQ Tennessee Pork Tenderloin

¼ cup whiskey

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ cup ketchup

½ cup brown sugar

½ teaspoon garlic powder

2 pounds pork tenderloin

Heat the oven to 450 degrees.

In a small saucepan combine whiskey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar and garlic powder. Bring to a boil and simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

Place the tenderloin on a foil-lined baking or roasting pan. Brush with the sauce. Roast for about 30 minutes until the internal temperature is 150 degrees. Remove from the oven and let the meat rest about 10 minutes before slicing.

Serves six.
