Batavia Library stuff up for bid in silent auction

Surplus property of the Batavia Public Library District will be sold by means of silent auction from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the meeting room at the library, 10 S. Batavia Ave.

Property includes used computers, printers, desk chairs, ceramic figurines, keyboards, a lighted display case, and more. Each item will have its own bid sheet with an opening bid suggested by the library.

The highest bidder at 8 p.m. takes the item home. All sales are "as is" and final. Only cash or first-party personal checks will be accepted. Buyers have the responsibility of removing purchases from the library immediately following the silent auction.

A list of items will be available at the Check Out Desk and online at BataviaPublicLibrary.org, beginning Aug. 3.
