Agrees with gambling stance
Thanks for your bold editorial July 28, titled "Towns must shun video gambling while they can."
I am still amazed that after 30 years of solving all our problems with gaming, that we still fall for that flimflam solution. If half the promises made in the campaigns to legalize the riverboat casinos had become reality, we would not need more gambling opportunities.
But those promises did not become reality and now we fall for another round of "if we have more gambling, we will have more money."
I am grateful for your call to our communities to end the silence now.
