Maggie Speaks to rock Solheim Cup event
"Solheim After Sundown," a special community event, will kick off the 2009 Solheim Cup week with Chicago-based cover band Maggie Speaks. The event will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the PING Pavilion at Rich Harvest Farms, 7S771 Dugan Road in Sugar Grove.
The Solheim Cup is a biennial trans-Atlantic match-play event featuring the top 12 U.S.-born players from the LPGA and the best European members from the Ladies European Tour. The U.S. Team leads the competition 7-3, and has never lost The Solheim Cup on home soil.
"We are thrilled to have Maggie Speaks perform at Solheim After Sundown," said Kelly Hyne, executive director of the 2009 Solheim Cup. "Their passionate and energetic shows are a perfect match for the patriotic atmosphere of The Solheim Cup."

Individual tickets for Solheim After Sundown are $100 and include admission to the Tuesday practice round, parking for the day, privileges at the PING Pavilion all day and at night for the evening entertainment by Maggie Speaks, dinner and silent auction.
Corporate tables of 10 are also available. Approximately 300 of the 1,500 tickets remain for Solheim After Sundown.
