Diabetes program offered in Spanish at Dundee Township library

The Dundee Township Public Library, 555 Barrington Ave. in East Dundee, will offer a program in Spanish on diabetes at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. It is to help people understand, prevent and control diabetes.

The presenter will be Dr. Liliana Erazo, a Hispanic physician who was born and studied medicine in Colombia. She came to this country 12 years ago and studied family medicine at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Chicago.

Erazo is interested in serving and educating the Spanish-speaking community. Her special interest is in women's health and preventive medicine for the whole family. She also enjoys working with diabetic patients.
