Groups, stories for tots at Dundee Township Library

Parents and caregivers looking for fun for the too-young-for-school crowd will find storytimes and play groups at the Dundee Township Public Library, 555 Barrington Ave., East Dundee. To register, call the children's department at (847) 428-3661, ext. 310 or visit dundeelibrary.info.

Baby Play Group: Parents can socialize with other adults while the little ones play safely under their parent's supervision. Come and find toys to play with, board books to read, puppet friends and other fun activities. This is a free, drop-in program; no registration is required. It will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays, Oct. 12-26 in the lower level meeting room.

Tremendous Twos: During these four weekly, 20-minute sessions, children will listen to stories and be encouraged to participate in activities, finger plays and songs. Toddlers must be age 2 by Nov. 4, and a parent or caregiver must participate with the child. The program is free, but registration is required starting on Monday, Oct. 19 (and will continue until sessions are full). It will be held at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4-25 in the Craft Room on the lower level.

Spanish Storytime: All ages are welcome to enjoy Spanish language stories read by Larissa DeSmet. No registration is required for this drop-in family event at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2 in the Craft Room on the lower level.
