Arlington Jewel celebrates grand reopening
Food and drug retailer Jewel-Osco recently celebrated the grand reopening of its newly remodeled store in Arlington Heights, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
During this special occasion at the store, located at 122 N. Vail St., Jewel-Osco also made a $1,000 donation to Lutheran Church of the Cross to assist the parish's food pantry, which serves the communities of Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Elk Grove, Mount Prospect and Rolling Meadows.
"The LCC Food Pantry volunteers and everyone we serve would like to thank Jewel-Osco for its continued support for our community outreach program to serve the hungry," said LCC Food Pantry chairman Walker Reach.
The renovated Jewel-Osco offers customers a variety of ready-to-go meal solutions and improved department areas, including: Chef's Kitchen with brand new Cheese Shop and Olive Bar; Butcher Block premium meat department; Pier 14 seafood department; dairy and frozen product sections; wild harvest for natural and organic products; Bake Shop; floral department; liquor department; and Jewel-Osco Pharmacy service area.
"We invite the community to come in and see everything we've done," said Jewel Store director John Large. "I know customers will enjoy the convenience and full array of services that are now available."
The remodeled Jewel-Osco in Arlington Heights is open seven days-a-week, from 6 a.m.-11 p.m. For more information, customers can call the store at (847) 398-1430.
