Funeral services set for Lake Zurich teen

Services for a 13-year-old Lake Zurich girl who died after being hit by a van on New Years Eve will be Wednesday at the Justen Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 N. Rosedale Court, Round Lake.

Kristina Rodriguez died Saturday at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Officials said the immediate family will gather Thursday at the funeral home for prayers at 9:30 a.m., and then travel in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 114 N. Lincoln Ave., Round Lake for the 10 a.m. funeral Mass.

Friends are asked to meet the family at the church for the Mass. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. All memorials are suggested to be made to the family. For information, call the funeral home at (847) 546-3300, or visit the funeral home Web site at justenfh.com.
