Coulson is a proven leader for 10th Dist.

Our nation is currently facing enormous challenges from the need for health care reform to reducing the high unemployment rate. Unfortunately, the lack of leadership in the current Congress has resulted in partisan bickering and poor remedies to resolve these important issues.

However, voters in the 10th Congressional District have the opportunity to send a proven leader to Washington D.C., State Representative Beth Coulson.

While serving us in Springfield for more than a decade, she has compiled an impressive legislative record. She has spearheaded dozens of health care bills to increase access to care and provide necessary reforms to the system. In Washington D.C., she will work to expand access to care for those in need without increasing the power of bureaucrats to make health related decisions for us.

With a master's degree in business, Representative Coulson has fought for sound economic policies and is always working to hold government accountable for how it spends our tax dollars. She voted against the proposal to raise the state income tax by 50 percent. In Washington D.C., she will work to advance policies that encourage job creation and fiscal restraint.

I had the opportunity to discuss these issues with Representative Coulson and found her very knowledgeable. With a proven record of delivering results and the ability to work in a bipartisan manner to achieve them, she is the voice of reason we need in Washington D.C.
